Proposal to Sponsor  Event at TMRF Venue

Every year TMRF runs several events in various areas in mathematical and computer sciences. These events are usually a week long, though there are some topics which work best in a 3-day or in a two or three-week format. If you are interested in proposing and sponsoring a event, please let us know!

Typically, proposals are made a year and a half or two before the date of the proposed event.

A proposal should contain:

  1. Scientific description of the topic of  proposed event with justification
  2. Prospective Participants
  3.  A list of organizers and main speakers (if you wish to suggest).
  4. Format: A standard workshop lasts five days (M-F) and has about twenty talks (four per day, with a free afternoon on one day.) If you think a different format would be better, please explain the reasons for your choice.
  5. Funding/other support: TMRF is able to provide only technical support for the event, but you are encouraged to think of possible financial sources. Details of financial support from your institution and any other sources. (Documentary proof may be required for such sponsorships).

The proposal along with your institution information booklet should be submitted via email to the Chairman and also send an original copy by post to TMRF Office.  Once proposal is accepted by the TMRF, both the institutions have to sign a formal agreement.

Interested institutions may contact Prof. R. Akerkar for further details.

Why should I donate to TMRF? : Your gifts/donation to the TMRF will make it possible for us to do many of the things about which we now dream. A Permanent building, Visiting scholars, support for members and post docs, and ongoing independence and security for the Organization will all come with creation of a permanent TMRF endowment.
