Author Guidelines

How to prepare your submission
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit, on or before June 21, 2009, a 2-page manuscript proposal (MS Word 2003 or compatible) clearly outlining the focus of the proposed chapter. Authors of accepted proposals will be notified by July 5, 2009 about the status of their proposals and, if applicable, will be sent organizational guidelines for drafting their chapters. Full chapters are expected to be submitted by September 27, 2009. Submission lengths should not exceed 30 pages and must adhere to the manuscript style provided HERE

All submitted chapters will be reviewed on the basis of double-blind reviews. Acceptance will be based on relevance, technical soundness, originality, and clarity of presentation.

The Structure of the Chapter Content
For consistency of publication, please adhere to the following guidelines when preparing your chapter:

Abstract
As a contribution to a scholarly publication, your chapter should include an abstract, consisting of 150-200 words, that provides your readers with a synopsis of the content of your chapter. It is essential that your abstract clearly states the purpose of your chapter and summarizes the content.

Introduction 
Describe the motivation and the general perspective of this chapter. Toward the end, specifically state the objectives of the chapter.

Background
Provide general definitions and discussions of the topic and include views of others (literature review) into the discussion to explain your position on the topic.

Main Focus of the Chapter (one or more sections)
Present your viewpoint on the issues, debates, and problems as they relate to theme and point of views supporting your position. Give examples illustrating your position. Compare and contrast with what has been, or is currently being done as it relates to your particular focus and the main theme of the book. Also, you may suggest solutions and recommendations in dealing with the issues, debates, or problems presented in the preceding section.

Imminent Trends
Discuss upcomming trends. Provide insight about the future of the book's theme from the point of view of your topic.  Recommend  upcoming research directions within the domain of the topic.

Conclusion
Summary of discussion of the complete coverage of the topic in your chapter, and concluding remarks.

References
Your chapter should be fully referenced and all discussions and arguments must be supported by current published research in scholarly publications.

Important Note
It is your responsibility to obtain written permission to include any copyrighted materials in your chapter. The publisher of the book requires a copy of the written permission submitted with the final version of the chapter. In addition, all trademark use within the manuscript must be credited to its owner or written permission to use the name must be granted.

Make sure that complete editing of the chapter is conducted to ensure proper English language usage, grammatical structure, spelling and punctuation. Attention to these details will contribute to clear, concise communication of your ideas. If necessary, please obtain the assistance of a professional copyeditor.
